CC IDE

Simple. Hard to work without.

Getting started

01

Import a folder

Add any local folder — a Git repository or a plain directory — and CC IDE scans it in. Create files and folders right inside.

02

Each repo, its own window

History, files and chat stay focused in one dedicated window per repository.

03

Ask Claude

Ask about the code, or drag a todo into the chat to hand work to Claude.

Made for how you work

Theme

A rich set of built-in themes with light, dark and auto modes — switch to the look you like, any time.

Settings

Configure providers, models, fonts, tab placement, todo colors and image compression — all in one place.

Repository

Each repository opens in its own window. Close them all and the landing view returns — import or pick your next project there.

Git

Commit lists, branches, tags, and per-line blame — commit, squash, tag and browse any branch without leaving the app. Side-by-side or unified diffs, plus a working-tree view.

Files

A fast file tree with per-project state, in-repo symbol search, and a live diff of your edits as you type.

Preview

Markdown, images and HTML preview right in the editor — no external viewer.

Claude Code

Claude Code side by side. Chat, sessions and memories live in the sidebar — ask questions about the repository without leaving the editor.

Session

Replies read like a well-typed doc — streamed output, markdown and tool cards flow naturally.

Status bar

Live usage at the bottom of the chat — the context-window pill shifts color as it fills, and hover tooltips break down input, output, cache-hit rate and cost. Elapsed time and a one-click compact keep long sessions friendly.

Model Providers

Add, manage and switch providers and models freely — set a default provider and main model for every task.

Quick phrases

Save favorite prompts as quick phrases — click to insert, double-click to send directly.

Image compression

Images are compressed before being sent to the model — toggle it freely, set the ratio and quality, and save tokens.

Todos

Drag a todo into the chat to hand it to Claude — stars, colors and filters keep everything manageable.

Shortcuts

Rich keyboard shortcuts and quick operations — recent files, projects, git and tabs at a keystroke.

Quick actions

Drag, right-click or type — everything feels smooth, saves time, and works your way.
